Quick Summary

Fuse Web B.V. (hereinafter: Fuse Web) attaches great importance to safeguarding your privacy. Fuse Web will process personal data in accordance with the provisions arising from the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch laws and regulations. This means that we do everything reasonably possible to protect the information you provide to us or that otherwise comes to us. This applies to the information you provide to us when visiting our website, when requesting more information or a quote, when purchasing a product or service, and during any other contact that takes place between you or a third party and Fuse Web.

Personal Data

Fuse Web considers all information that can identify natural persons as personal data. It is not about whether a personal data directly says something about the natural person; a combination of information can also make it personal data. The most well-known example of personal data is a name or date of birth, but an IP address can also be personal data. The personal data that Fuse Web collects are:

  • Name and address details
  • Email address
  • IP address, internet browser, and device type
Purposes of Processing Personal Data

The data we collect when you visit our website is solely intended for the analysis and optimization of the website and tools. When you contact Fuse Web by email, we will use your personal data to respond to your question or reaction. We also use the provided information to make an offer or quote if requested. If you sign up to receive the newsletter and/or offers, we will use your personal data to send the newsletter or offers.

Duration of Agreement

During the term of an agreement, we use your personal data to fulfill this agreement. This means that we inform you about updates, but we can also contact you in case of problems or otherwise. If legal obligations require us to do so, Fuse Web will collect your personal data to comply with these obligations.

Third-Party Data

Fuse Web never uses the information it receives about third parties for its own purposes, except for its obligation to fulfill the agreement concluded with the customer, where this customer acts as the data controller. The data controller determines how Fuse Web should process the personal data and what the purpose of the processing is.

Target Audience

The target audience of this privacy policy includes anyone who is (potentially) interested in Fuse Web's products, services, and/or collaboration, anyone who has concluded an agreement with Fuse Web, any data subject (i.e., anyone whose personal data Fuse Web processes or has processed), and anyone who has had an agreement with Fuse Web in the past 7 years.

Origin of Personal Data

Fuse Web receives personal data directly from its customers and interested parties. Additionally, it receives personal data from third parties in the context of fulfilling an agreement with its customers, for example, through the service provider who has their invoices scanned.

Retention Periods

The retention period that Fuse Web adheres to is 2 years, unless:

  • An ongoing agreement is still in effect (in such cases, we retain the data for as long as the agreement lasts + 2 years after the end of the agreement, unless one of the following exceptions applies);
  • Laws and regulations require us to retain data longer;
  • We retain the data to establish our rights (in such cases, we retain it for 7 years);
  • In the case of job applications (in such cases, we retain it for 6 months, unless otherwise agreed with you).
Your Rights

You always have the right to:

  • Data portability (i.e., having your personal data transferred to you);
  • The right to be forgotten (i.e., the right to be forgotten);
  • Access;
  • Correction, supplementation, and deletion of data;
  • Restriction of processing;
  • Object to data processing
Data Sharing

Fuse Web processes personal data for its customers with whom it has concluded an assignment agreement. The personal data it processes for these customers is received from the customer and then returned to them in digital form. Fuse Web does not share your data with others, unless specifically mentioned hereafter and unless otherwise agreed by separate agreement. Strict confidentiality applies.

Security

As mentioned above, Fuse Web attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and your privacy in particular. We therefore take appropriate measures to prevent any unlawful use, misuse, loss, theft, leak, unwanted disclosure, unauthorized access, or unauthorized modification. Our security measures always align with the latest state of technology. If you suspect that data is not being properly protected, please contact Fuse Web B.V. at Perziklaan 15, (2564TV) The Hague.
